Solar anti-algae profile

With the new solar anti-algae profile from WaterBeck , ugly green streaks on pool covers are a thing of the past. The functional principle is simple and effective: A special groove design with an opaque protective UV coating prevents photosynthesis and hence the chlorophyll formation of algae in the moist hinge chambers. The special hook design and the extremely smooth surface also provide algae with little opportunity for adhesion. In addition, the patented geometry of the connecting chambers between the individual slats makes it difficult for algae to form. The solar anti-algae profiles consist of UV-stabilized polycarbonate slats with watertight sealed end caps. The additional protective UV coating slows down the aging of the slats. WaterBeck’s slats are made of high-quality plastics such as PC, PCTR, and PVC and offer excellent resistance to weather conditions such as hail. For pools with special fixtures or dimensions, the covers are individually designed using computer-aided simulations and then cut by hand with millimeter accuracy.
