In October 2022, various entrepreneurs were honored by the Eigenbetrieb Wirtschaft und Stadtmarketing of the city of Pforzheim. Among the honorees was Bernhard Henne, long-time managing director and shareholder of Schwimmbad-Henne GmbH, who was recognized for his life’s work (pictured 2nd from left). The awards were presented by Mayor Peter Boch and Oliver Reitz, Director of the Eigenbetrieb Wirtschaft und Stadtmarketing, during a ceremony at the CongressCentrum Pforzheim. The winners were delighted to receive a prize in the form of a sculpture, now in its eighth year, designed and created by Pforzheim goldsmith Oliver Schmidt. The keynote speaker was Prof. Dr. Stefan Bratzel, Director of the Center of Automotive Management, Bergisch Gladbach, on the topic of “Paradigm shift – the future trends in the automotive industry”. Following the award ceremony, guests gathered for a get-together in a relaxed atmosphere.
