With new insulating glass fronts, KLAFS is going one step further on the way to saunas that are even more resource-efficient. The glass fronts save energy and at the same time meet high design and quality requirements. The greatest benefit of the new insulating glass is the high level of thermal insulation. This means that the heat is retained even better in the cabins. In recent years, major changes have been observed in both private and commercial spa facilities. Spa areas are transformed into open, bright and simply designed wellness landscapes, which are made more attractive with large glass fronts, and saunas get even more optical expanse with wide glass fronts. The glasses also mean that a lot of heat escapes from the cabin. The new insulating glass front from KLAFS achieves 80% energy savings compared to conventional toughened safety glass. Less energy is required when the cabin is heated up. Because no heat escapes, the typical cozy sauna climate can be created inside. The U-value of the insulating glazing can be equated with modern windows in private residential construction. The heating energy requirement is reduced many times over. At the same time, pollutant emissions are also reduced.
