New solar slats

The Belgian cover manufacturer T&A presented new patented slats at the aquanale. The polycarbonate slats are manufactured using the quadro-extrusion process. This makes the slat impact-resistant and durable. Solar, anti-algae and anti-condensation effects are combined with one another. The use of a selective color pigment gives the slat a modern, high-quality look. The Quadro slats have four layers: The top layer is UV protection that blocks visible light and only lets infrared through. That means you can’t see through it, but there is still a solar effect. The second level is a filter layer. Here the customer can choose between the variants Black or Titanium. In the Black version, customers receive a stylish and exclusive roller shutter, while the Titanium version gives the cover a modern and eye-catching look. The third level is the anti-algae layer and finally the solar layer follows. Thus, the Quadro Black Edition and Quadro Titanium Edition are ideal solar slats that give off a large amount of thermal energy to the water.
