As part of its continued external growth strategy, the CF Group has acquired Dutch company Starline, a leading manufacturer and distributor of polypropylene and composite swimming pools, pool covers and water treatment systems in the Benelux and UK markets. Founded in 1974, Starline achieved a turnover of 46 million euros in 2021 with a growth rate of more than 130% in the last five years. The company generates more than half of its turnover in the “swimming pool covers” segment, resulting in strong synergy effects with the CF Group, which thus strengthens in this segment and consolidates its position on the Belgian, Dutch and British markets. Victor de Vries, CEO of Starline: “This combination leverages strong business synergies that exist with CF Group, particularly in the German-speaking markets.” And Cedrik Mayer-Klenk, CEO of the CF Group, adds: “The acquisition will support the growth of our strategic business activities in the coming years”.
