Award from the Bavarian State Ministry

SPECK Pumpen Verkaufsgesellschaft GmbH in Neunkirchen am Sand was honored with the “Bavaria’s Best 50” award as a particularly fast-growing company. This is the 21st time that the prize has been awarded to companies whose actions and development serve as role models for the Bavarian economy and are examples of positive entrepreneurship. The award ceremony was held by Bavaria’s Minister of State Hubert Aiwanger at Schleißheim Castle. This makes SPECK one of the 50 fastest growing medium-sized companies in Bavaria. The owner-managed family business has been able to increase its sales by over 50% in the last five years and create around 50 new jobs at its headquarters in Neunkirchen am Sand alone. The training ratio is also consistently high.

“For me as a fourth-generation family entrepreneur, customer orientation, highest quality Made in Germany and personnel development are the basis for sustainable company development,” says Hermann Speck, Managing Director of SPECK Pumpen Verkaufsgesellschaft GmbH. “The fact that we have been doing this excellently for decades and have now been officially recognized by the Ministry of State for our achievements makes me very proud and makes me particularly happy for our employees. After all, it is they who make our success possible in the first place through their dedication and commitment.” Together with Managing Director Armin Herger, Hermann Speck accepted the award.

“Medium-sized entrepreneurs who identify new opportunities for growth and employment and consistently exploit them are the backbone of our economy,” said Hubert Aiwanger, Bavarian Minister of State for Economic Affairs, Regional Development and Energy, at the awards ceremony. The award honors particularly high-growth companies that have been able to increase the number of their employees and their sales at an above-average rate over the past five years. Other key selection criteria are the economic stability and future viability of the respective companies. The award winners were selected by the auditing and tax consulting company Mazars GmbH & Co. KG as an independent juror according to objective criteria of the Bavarian Ministry of Economic Affairs.
