Expansion of production capacities

Thanks to a growing demand for its automated covers, WaterBeck has significantly expanded production at its Hameln site. Not only has there been an increase in the number of employees, but production capacities have been expanded as well. In the future, the covers will be custom-made, commissioned, and shipped in an area totaling 1,000 m2. The new production hall, which is flooded with daylight, offers optimum conditions for processing the packages of slats and winding shafts measuring up to 10 m in length. The machinery has expanded as well: Thanks to a new double miter saw, slats made of PC, PVC, and PCTR can be cut with an even greater degree of reliability and accuracy. The saw is equipped with a feed that can be individually adjusted depending on the type of slat to prevent chipping. In addition, a digital display makes it possible to precisely adjust the cutting length to the slat length, and an automatic suction device also ensures a chip-free work surface. The use of the system not only increases occupational safety, it also significantly reduces delivery times.
